Why a TractorBumper?
We combine the following features into one design:

Does the bumper has a towing point?
Yes, the SafetyWeight Plus weights have a towing point in the top link support where a rope can be attached. We have tested this extensively, watch the video here:
How will the SafetyWeight Plus Model be delivered?
The SafetyWeight Plus bumper will be delivered on a large pallet as shown in the picture and is already fully assembled.
Why can you adjust the hitch point in 2 positions?
There are 2 coupling positions for the bumper, supplied as standard in the front position (1). If the front linkage is compact and fully raised, the bumper may touch the linkage arm. The coupling position must then be moved to the rearmost position (2). Loosen the M27 bolt (key 41), move the nut inside the rail and tighten again.
Which weights can I choose?
The following weights are possible: 1300kg, 1500kg, 1800kg, 2000kg, or 2500kg. Selected weight cannot be adjusted afterwards. Need less weight? Look for our Safetyweight models from 300kg till 1100kg.
Can I change the weight afterwards?
No, it is not possible to increase or decrease the weight afterwards.
With which material are the bumpers filled with?
As ballast we use small punch caps, residual material from perforated sheet. This in combination with concrete gives a strong and solid construction.
What are the dimensions of the storage box?
The storage box is 80 cm wide, 19 cm deep, 19 cm high at the front and 37 cm high at the rear. The volume is 55 liters.
Are there extra lifting arms possible in front?
No, protruding parts in front of the bumper are not safe, so the option is not possible.
What is de distance from hitch ball till front SafetyWeight Plus bumper?
This depends on the weight. 37 cm at 1300 and 1500 kg models, 48 cm at 1800, 2000 and 2500 kg models
How wide can I adjust the SafetyWeight Plus?
Width is adjustable from 2.5 meter till 2.9 meter.
Is a tractor bumper required by law?
No, a tractor bumper is not mandatory in any country.
Does the bumper work in practice?
A few of accidents have now been reported in which the TractorBumper has undoubtedly limited the consequences.
Can I get a subsidy for a tractor bumper?
Only subsidy in possible in Belgium, callled “VLIF”. According to our data, subsidy is not possible in all other countries
