About us

In 2013 we started developing TractorBumpers because we felt that the road safety of tractors at the front could be improved. We gradually discovered that, in addition to safety, there was a great demand for more funtionality, such as a storage box and extra weight.

Made in Holland

For many years now, we have focused on bumpers for tractors, both in terms of design and production. Everything is designed and produced with great attention in the Netherlands. In recent years we have continued to develop our product, with safety, design and practical use as spearheads.

Unique design

The patent-protected side panels allow the bumper to be optimally adjusted to any type and brand of tractor. Reversing security makes this product also unique. Tractor Bumpers are now on the road in more than 20 countries, which contribute to safer agricultural and construction traffic.

Who is TractorBumper, actually?

I’m Fons, son of a dairy farmer, and I spent my youth working as a Saturday and weekend helper at a contractor. With a passion for engineering, I have been developing drum mowers at Kuhn as a design engineer for 6 years. In the meantime, I noticed the first Peecon bumper in 2012 and I saw potential in it. Tractor lighting could definitely be improved. That’s why I started sketching the ideal bumper—one that is practical, affordable, improves visibility and safety by 100%, and looks great on the tractor. I quickly realized that we had to combine it with front weight and a storage box, so it would also become something functional. And now, 13 years, lots of trial and error, and 400 versions later, we’re still working on the details.

In Short:

  • Farmer’s son

One passion: agricultural engineering, designing with sheet metal;

  • Happiest when: I receive photos and videos of satisfied customers;
  • Practical (farmer’s son 😉 ) sounds 👂 like music to my big ears;
  • Proud of the production of 1,500 bumpers per year, 90% of which are now exported;
  • Our three children come first, but the bumper is truly my fourth child.
