How does it work with the shear bolt driving backwards?

Is there also a shear bolt to the rear?

No, when there is a collision, the construction need to be strong to absorb the force. Distance between wheels and bumper may not be less, otherwise the wheel will catch the side panel and the damage will be very big.

Does the marking and lighting comply with EU legislation?

Yes. Lighting and marking both comply with European traffic legislation. Size, light colour, light intensity and amount of lighting. Red-white panel surface minimum 28.2 x 28.2 cm and reflection class ECE 104. This is necessary to comply with EU legislation. Smaller is not allowed. All lighting has an E-mark. This indicates that the light intensity and light colour have been approved according to EU legislation for public roads.

Which position in height of the bumper for the public road?

The bottom of the TractorBumper to the road surface must be at least 40 cm on public roads.

What is the advice for position to adjust the sidepanels?

The advice is not to set the side panels too wide, which improves manoeuvrability. Width lamp on the same width as tire or slightly outside is the advice.

I do not have a front linkage, which bumper is possible?

We have a Box 50L variant which is suitable for tractors without a front linkage. This has an integrated storage box of 50L, price is equal to a standard Box 50L TractorBumper. The Bumper is fully painted and complete with LED and stickers. Unpainted flange plates are added (colored red). Connection from flange plate to tractor chassis must be made by yourself (color yellow)

Which color combinations are possible?

The standard powder-coated frame colors are black, AGCO grey, anthracite and green, With stickers we can make different color combinations, see below. More pictures of different brands are on our website. A different RAL as frame color is possible at additional costs.

How is the bumper delivered and what do I have to assemble myself?

The bumper is delivered by an forwarder on an EUR pallet. The side panels need to be mounted, see here videos of the different models: Assemble Box 50L / Box 150L: Assemble Connect: Assemble SafetyWeight:

What about the VAT?

For inside EU: With a valid company VAT number you do not pay VAT inside EU. Click here to check your VAT number inside EU. (Link maken). You can enter your VAT number at checkout page. Which types of weight blocks does the Connect bumper fit on?

The Connect bumper fits in an original Fendt 870kg weight block and in B-600kg and B-900kg weights from manufacturer Pateer. See the dimensions here:

Can i use a connect without a frontweight?

Our direct linkage set an option. With this kit you can connect the bumper directly to you frontlinkage without a frontweight between. Red colored is the mounting kit Solo. See here for more info.

What is the minimum and maximium width for the Connect bumper?

Width is adjusable from 2.1 til 2.7 meter. Optional longer side panels are available, allowing you to reach a width of up to 3.0 meters. Inquire via Contact.

What is the weight of the Connect?

Total weight is 100kg

Does the connect has a storage box?

No, the Connect bumper is the only bumper without a storage box.

How is the Connect bumper connected on the frontweight?

At the front connected with 2x M16 bolts. On the side, the Connect bumper is laterally supported with 2x M20 bolts

The BOX 50L has a storage box of 50 liters. 78 cm wide, 32 cm high and 20 cm deep.

What is the minimum and maximium width for the Box 50L bumper?

With standard side parts, the width can be adjusted from 2 meters to 2.7 meter. Optionally (at no extra cost) very short side parts are possible. The width is then approx. 1.8 meters.

What is the distance between linkage ball and front side Box 50L bumper?

Dimension between linkage ball and front side Box 50L is 14 cm.

How will the Box 50L bumper be delivered?

The Box 50L bumper is packed compact on a EUR pallet. First connect the middle frame with the front linkage and then mount the side panels, see the video:

How is the Box 50L bumper connected on the fronthitch and how is disconnecting working?

The bumper has no top link connection, but is secured in the lower link arm with 2 bolts, see: The bumper has no toplink and is only connected in the lower link arms. Because of the two bolts, it can not rotate. Disconnect is easy by loosening the lower support (1) with a split pin. after that, the fronthitch (2) can be easily go down for uncoupling.

What is the weight of the Box 50L bumper?

The total weight of the Box 50L bumper is 100 kg.

I don't have a front linkage, can I mount a bumper?

We have a Box 50L variant which is for tractors without a front linkage. The bumper is fully painted and complete with LED and stickers. Unpainted steel flange plates are added (red colour). Connection from flange plate to tractor chassis must be made by yourself (color yellow). Bumper weight is 100kg.

How does the Category 1 bumper look like?

Here is a Box 50L variant for small tractors with a Cat. 1 frontlinkage. This is equipped with very short side parts so that the smallest position is 1.6 meter in width. Bumper weight is 90kg.

Can additional weight be added to the BOX 50L bumper?

The BOX 50L bumper does not have a top link, making it less stable with heavy weight. Optional additional weight is available, up to 200 kg. Guideline price: €4 per kilogram. Ask about the available options.

The SafetyWeight bumper is packed compact on an EUR pallet. The side parts are located in the storage box. First connect the middle frame with the front linkage and then mount the side panels, see the video:

Why can you adjust the hitch point in 2 positions?

There are 2 coupling positions for the bumper, standard in the front position. If the front linkage is compact and fully raised, the bumper may touch the linkage arm. The ball position must then be moved to the position 2, more at the back Loosen the M27 bolt (key 41), move the nut inside the rail and tighten again.

Which weights can I choose?

The following weights are possible: 300kg, 400kg, 500kg, 600kg, 800kg, 1000kg or 1100kg. Selected weight cannot be adjusted afterwards. Need more weight? Look at our Safetyweight Plus models till 2500kg.

Can I change the weight afterwards?

No, it is not possible to increase or decrease the weight afterwards.

Is the indicated weight the total weight?

Yes, a SafetyWeight bumper of 800 kg, the total weight is 800 kg, so including the bumper side panels.

What are the bumpers filled with?

As ballast we use small punch caps, residual material from perforated sheet. This in combination with concrete gives a strong and solid construction.

What are the dimensions of the storage box?

The storage box is 80 cm wide, 19 cm deep, 19 cm high at the front and 37 cm high at the rear. The volume is 55 liters.

Are there extra lifting arms possible in front?

No, protruding parts in front of the bumper are not safe, so the option is not possible.

What is the distance of linkage ball to front SafetyWeight bumper?

This depends on the weight. 19 cm on the 300, 400,500 kg models, 23 cm on the 600 and 800 models, 32 cm on the 1000 and 1100 models.
